Project: Big Box Retail Store in Paterson, NJ
Client: CH2M Hill Constructors
Scope: EAI installed FLUTe well, HDPE piping, sub-slab vent
piping/GeoVent, the Liquid Boot vapor barrier, and a monitoring layer for this former chemical manufacturing site in Paterson, NJ.

Project: Holland Tunnel, Port Authority of NY & NJ
Client: T. Moriarty & Sons
Scope: EAI provided all the environmental services for the complete rehab of the four vent buildings of the Holland Tunnel for both the NY and NJ locations. EAI’s scope of work included permitting, custom wastewater treatment design, and soot, lead, and asbestos remediation and disposal, all sampling, and safety and health inspections.

Project: Various Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
Client: North Fork Bank, a division of Capital One
Scope: EAI has been providing North Fork Bank with Phase I site assessment reports for over a decade for numerous properties throughout the NY/NJ region. EAI continues to perform Phase I reporting services to North Fork Bank on an ongoing basis.

Project: Roebling School, Trenton, NJ
Client: Van Note Harvey Associates / NJ School Construction Corp.
Scope: The Roebling school will be built at the site of the former Roebling steel mill plant. In order to convert the old building into a school and make it safe for occupancy, EAI was brought in to perform survey, design and air monitoring services for asbestos and lead.

Project: Public School 260Q, Corona, NY
Client: Hunter Roberts / NYC School Construction Authority
Scope: When two underground storage tanks [USTs] were discovered on site, EAI was contracted by the General Contractor to remove them and impacted soils. EAI stockpiled, tested and characterized the soil on the site prior to removal. EAI removed approximately 1,900 tons of hazardous soil. Upon completion of the remediation phase, EAI installed Liquid Boot® vapor barrier to the underslab and walls of the foundation.
