Liquid Boot Vapor Barriers & GeoVent

The Liquid Boot® membrane is a cold-spray applied rubberized asphalt membrane that is applied to the building foundation, sub-slab and to exterior walls,
to prevent VOC’s and vapors from intruding into a building. The product is typically used and specified for redevelopments on former landfill, gas station
or brownfield sites. The product is a competitive alternative to the traditional sheet or 60-mil HDPE products that are installed. For a building footprint,
the Liquid Boot can provide a better seal more quickly when you have pipe penetrations or multiple piles to attach onto. The more complex your foundation,
the better the chance that this fluid-applied option would be a good choice for your project.
GeoVent is a low profile, sub-slab venting system that is installed underslab with either a passive or active depressurization system. It saves time in
installation because it is an inch thick and does not need to be trenched into stone. It typically is installed flush with the sub-grade stone or aggregate
and requires less time to install. It is a technical equal to traditional PVC in terms of permeability and is generally less expensive both for the installation

systems, which were designed to allow

coat an existing roof that might be in need
of repair or replacement. Instead of
spending money on a costly removal and
replacement, the 3M™ Scotchkote™ products
will allow you to put your existing roof
back into maximum service with minimal down
time and at a lower cost. Backed by

coatings experience, Scotchkote™ is on the
leading edge of cost-effective solutions to
repair your existing flat roof.
Scotchkote™ Roof Coatings are offered in the following options:
- Water Based Acrylic (CSM): Can be used on
both Asphalt and Cement Roofs, for
installations that require low VOC content
and minimal disruption to normal building
functions.
- Reinforced Polyurethane Base Coat (EC) and
Top Coat (UV): Products are cold applied and
do not require open flames or other heat
sources. The Polyurethane system can
be applied to built-up roofs, modified
bitumen roofs, vents & parapet walls,
insulation board, cement roofs, and
balconies and walkways.

Aquafin Product Lines

Aquafin has various product lines to meet a variety of needs in the field. Their Vaportight Coat SG-2 can be applied directly to existing concrete slabs
and has testing for hydrocarbon vapor and as secondary containment. EAI installed this product at the NYCSCA Art Leather High School which involved the creation
of a new school out of an existing structure that had an oil-contaminated slab. Upon completion and curing of the installation of the Vaportight SG-2 coating,
the product can be covered with tiling or other finish flooring.
Aquafin also carries product lines for waterproofing exteriors of buildings and options for the interior of elevator pits.

waterproofing systems. Preprufe is an HDPE sheet product that has an adhesive layer that bonds to the concrete when poured. It can be applied underslab or
on the blindside foundation walls of a building that requires waterproofing. The Bituthene is a self-adhered sheet that can be applied to the exterior of
traditional two-faced walls for waterproofing.
